The heat finally broke and we enjoyed a lovely day at the Meridian Market. We will be at the East Lansing Farmers Market tomorrow, Sunday with more lisianthus, a few eggplant, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, our famous eggs, onions, beets, Kale, braising mix, some beautiful flower bouquets and garlic yeah!!! I also make a tray of baklava that we will have for sale at the market. 6 pieces for $5.00. (All packaged up in a cute little tin.) It’s really yummy.
We harvested some of the garlic patch in the stinking heat earlier this week. Looks to be a great crop. Here is what I saw this week:
