Last week we had three snow days in a row. Things got pretty idle around here. After plowing the driveway, Richard built a snow bowl and a 10′ sledding hill. Then, just before sun down, an old favorite on the farm, tractor sledding!! It looks dangerous but he goes pretty slow.
The seed orders are in. Waiting now for the boxes to arrive. Found a farm in North Carolina to buy certified organic onion and leek plants ( more affordable). Plan to fire up the nursery greenhouse on March 1 depending on the weather. First up are the greenhouse tomatoes and snapdragons, lettuce starts and kale.
