June on the farm

These last few weeks have been an absolute blur of work. We are finally kind-of-sort-of feeling caught up on the planting. Overall this seasons crops will come in late so we are hoping for a nice, slow, warm, fall. This weekend will likely be the last for plants sales at Meridian Market though we will have plants at The East Lansing Farmers Market for a few more weeks. Monday will be CSA #5 and we are really happy at the wonderful response from our CSA members about all their greens. There will be a break from CSA distribution to let the summer crops catch up after the spring crops are all done. I will e-mail everyone to let you know. Here is what I saw with my camera today:Field of dreams and driving range at angle Field of dreams in June RAB walking the garlic RAB checking out garlic in June Tomaotes and hot peppers in grnhse in June Sunnies ready to bloom in grnhse broccoli in field of dreams in June snaps ready to bloom in grnhse South hpehse grd in June hpe #5 w: lawn closing greenhouses
