First plantings in the greenhouse

We found a dry patch in greenhouse #5 this week and snuck in some lettuce, Swiss Chard,  spinach,  kale and  beets. The  farm is wet, wet, wet and it will be awhile until we dry out. Meanwhile we are close to filling up the Quonset greenhouse with thousands of baby plants. Things seem late. We waited about 10 extra days to start seeding in because it was like -10 the first week in March. Every season is so different. So many variables make up a season. Here’s to hoping for the best!vanishing landscape photo challenge week #13
