Tuesday we don’t have any employees and we try to get caught up on home stuff and try to take a breath. We are fast approaching the harvest, harvest, harvest season when thinking about cultivation is a frivolous thought. The tomatoes are starting to come in followed by a wave of eggplant soon followed by a sea of beans. (Ok, that was bad I know. My English prof Lois Rosin would red mark that for sure.)
For CSA folks or anyone stopping by the farm be sure to check out Hoophouse #2. The lisianthus are in full bloom and are stunning. We are cutting them and putting them in the cooler as fast as we can. I’m doing a wedding and a Polish party in flowers this weekend and the timing in perfect with so many flowers to work with. I’ll try to post some pics next week. I’m holding tight with my 50mm prime lens. Here is what I saw today:
Oh my, a sea of beans , and I am sailing into a sun flower sunnset.
